Country star Brad Paisley on Tuesday announced dates on his Virtual Reality World Tour, and one of them is at Omaha's Red Sky Music Festival.
The festival runs from July 17 to 22, and Paisley's publicist says he's down to headline the festival at TD Ameritrade Park on July 20.
Neither LiveNation nor the Metropolitan Entertainment and Convention Authority have announced anything about Red Sky acts.
Paisley, who's still riding the success of his 2010 album "This Is Country Music," will bring along The Band Perry as an opening act, the publicist said.
Who will the other five headliners be? And what about the daytime bands? LiveNation and MECA officials are not expected to release any lineup information about the festival until later in the month.
"We're in discussions and we'll have big announcements concerning Red Sky soon," said Rebecca Kleeman, MECA spokeswoman.
