Creighton University will add Jody Schwartz Longballa and Ross Paule to its athletic hall of fame on April 9.
Longballa, a former softball star and 1989 graduate, was a first-team All-American in 1988 and twice led the Bluejays in home runs and slugging percentage.
Paule played only three years at Creighton before being drafted into professional soccer. He remains the only soccer player in school history to have earned first-team all-Missouri Valley Conference honors in his first three seasons and one of only 10 players overall to have earned the honor three times. He was also a finalist for the Hermann Trophy and the Missouri Athletic Club Player of the Year award in 1996.
