Maha Music Festival has added to its already-lauded lineup.
The festival announced late Sunday that Delta Sprit and Dum Dum Girls will join a lineup that includes a reunited Desaparecidos and alternative legends Garbage as well as singer-songwriter Josh Rouse.
Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, NME and many other music publications wrote about Maha's via a World-Herald story announcing the lineup.
Delta Spirit is a California blues-rock band that released its self-titled album in March. The group's performances that month at South by Southwest music festival were praised by many.
Dum Dum Girls is an all-female noise pop band. The group's second album, "Only in Dreams," came out on Sub Pop Records.
Lincoln singer Eli Mardock as added to the local stage, which will be headlined by Icky Blossoms. Mardock formerly fronted the band Eagle Seagull and his debut album will be released later this year.
The festival takes place on Aug. 11 at Stinson Park near Aksarben Village. Tickets, $35, are on sale now at mahamusicfestival.com.
More bands will be announced at a later date.
