Jazz on the Green lineup announced



Dig through your closets for picnic blankets, lawn chairs and coolers. Jazz on the Green is right around the corner.

Once again, the free concert series takes place on Thursdays at Turner Park near Midtown Crossing.

This year's lineup includes jazz, blues and swing bands from Omaha and elsewhere.

Turner Park opens at 5 p.m. and all events start at 7 p.m. Free parking is available in Midtown Crossing garages for the first three hours.

• July 12: Mike Gurciullo and his Las Vegas Lab Band

• July 19: Lavay Smith & Her Red Hot Skillet Lickers

• July 26: Kathy Kosins

• Aug. 2: The Lil' Slim Blues Band

• Aug. 9: Marcos & Sabor

• Aug. 16: Joseph Vincelli Quartet
