This summer, Jane's Addiction will perform at the Orpheum Theater.
Known for songs such as "Been Caught Stealing" and "Jane Says," Jane's Addiction will perform at the Orpheum Theater on Aug. 25.
Electro-rock band Big Black Delta will open the show.
Jane's Addiction formed in the late '80s and the band's 1991 farewell tour became the first Lollapalooza tour. Jane's Addiction inspired many alternative rock bands such as Pearl Jam, Nine Inch Nails and Nirvana, whose Kurt Cobain and Dave Grohl attended the first Lollapalooza.
The band's 2011 album "The Great Escape Artist" was its first in eight years and hit No. 2 on Billboard's alternative albums chart.
Tickets to the concert - $65, $49.50 and $45 - go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
Fun fact: Local promoter 1% Productions is named after the Jane's Addiction song "1%" and booked the concert at the Orpheum.
