Rhonda Waters of Omaha found a creative way to plan her family's meals for the week. And she did it by recycling a frame. Her colorful menu board allows her to quickly swap in recipe cards that have the name of the dish and grocery list on the front and the directions on the back, making grocery shopping a snap.
Frame (her example was formerly a calendar holder)
Chipboard box (for recipe cards), or you can recycle a small cardboard box.
Sand and paint the frame. Allow to dry.
Measure and cut the scrapbook paper to fit the inside of the frame. Glue it to the interior.
Paint the clothespins and write a day of the week on each one. Once they are dry, glue them to the menu board, spacing them down one side.
For the recipe box, cover a chipboard box or recycled cardboard box with coordinating paper and glue it to the board in the lower righthand corner.
