TV what to watch: “Mysteries at the Museum”

“The Unsinkable Molly Brown” 7 p.m. to 9:15 p.m., TCM (1964)

Debbie Reynolds stars in this musical comedy about an uneducated, poor girl from the mountains who leaves her cabin in search of a wealthy husband, respect and a better life.

“The Vampire Diaries’ 7 p.m., CW (New)

Elena experiences terrifying hallucinations that lead her to make a dangerous mistake. Hallucinations usually do that.

“30 Rock” 7 p.m., NBC (New)

Tracy portrays Jack as a villain in a new movie, which causes some friction between the two.

“Two and a Half Men” 7:31 p.m. to 8:01 p.m., CBS (New)

Alan has a surprising inspiration when he mulls making a commitment to Lindsey.

“Up All Night” 7:30 p.m., NBC (New)

Reagan (Christina Applegate) tries to give husband Chris (Will Arnett) a perfect Thanksgiving after he misses his chance to go home for the holiday. Since this is a comedy, we can probably all guess how that’s going to turn out.

“Person of Interest” 8:01 p.m. to 9:01 p.m., CBS (New)

Finch and Reese must look to an unconventional source for help after the machine gives them the number of a successful surgeon.

“Glee” 8 p.m., Fox (New)

Rachel, Kurt, Santana and Cassandra return as the glee club kicks off its production of “Grease.”

“Mysteries at the Museum” 8 p.m., Travel Channel (New, season premiere)

The hosts tell the tale of a lantern used by a teenage girl on a mission to save lives, among other items in the nation’s museums.

“Sweet Genius” 9 p.m., Food Network (New)

The chefs must make chocolate items, candy and cake with inspiration — and mandatory ingredients — from a Thanksgiving feast.

“Elementary” 9:01 p.m., CBS (New)

Holmes investigates a double homicide that is eerily similar to a series of murders that took place 13 years earlier.

“Scandal” 9:02 p.m., ABC (New)

A mysterious letter alludes to Huck’s sinister past and warns that it may be revealed. Olivia wants Harrison to contain the damage from a coworker’s disclosed secret.
