Enter UNL juried book art exhibition
The “Heart & Hands 2013” national juried book art exhibition is accepting books by undergraduate and graduate students at accredited academic institutions.
It is the fourth national exhibition sponsored by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Department of Art and Art History. Books made in book arts, graphic design, photography, printmaking and writing courses, and completed between Jan. 1, 2011, and March 1, 2013, are eligible.
There is an entry fee of $20 per student (not per book).
Selected books will be on view in a show at UNL’s Love Library from April 8 to May 31 and at the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s Criss Library from Oct. 11 to Nov. 14. Accepted books must be available for sale.
The UNL and UNO libraries will purchase some of the award-winning books from the exhibits.
This year’s juror is Barbara Tetenbaum, a book and installation artist who founded the imprint Triangular Press in 1979.
More information and an entry form are available at art.unl.edu/HandHprospectus2013.pdf. Or contact Karen Kunc, UNL professor of art, at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 402-472-5522.
