Get the magazine
Brides attending the Wedding Essentials Bridal University will be the first to receive a copy of the spring/summer 2013 issue of Wedding Essentials Magazine. Filled with inspiration, fashion, advice and real weddings, the magazine is an essential resource for planning a unique and modern event in the Omaha metro area. Pick up a free copy at area wedding retailers or buy it at Target, Barnes and Noble or area grocery stores.

Brides, start your planning at the Wedding Essentials Bridal University Sunday in the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs.

This boutique-style event will give brides an opportunity to meet with the Omaha area's leading wedding vendors.

Displays include: bridal shower tablescapes featuring colorful linens; china place settings and floral designs; pieces for the bride to wear in her hair to accentuate her veil, to stand alone or to accessorize during the reception.

On the First Look Runway, gowns and tuxedos from local and national retailers will be on display, highlighting all of today's bridal trends for every season. The show, which features styles for the entire wedding party, is repeated throughout the day.

The Wedding Essentials Bridal University is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $12, but you can take $2 off your ticket by purchasing it in advance online at weddingessentialsmagazine.com, where you also can find more information on the event.
